MOE-GIC
Partnership

GIC was established in 1981 to manage the country’s foreign reserves, and is a global long-term investor with investments in over 40 countries. We work to secure Singapore’s financial future by investing across a wide range of asset classes in the public and private markets, including real estate, private equity, equities and fixed income.

Since 2018, GIC has partnered the Ministry of Education, Singapore to develop initiatives for the national curriculum that will prepare Singaporean students to be future-ready for an increasingly complex, uncertain and fast-changing world. The partnership has produced educational resources and engagement programmes with real-world applications across:
• Financial Literacy: Personal Finance & Reserves Management
• The Global Economy & Impact on Singapore
• The Future of Work & Careers in Investment Management

The resources, which are also available on the national Student Learning Space platform, can be accessed on this website in the form of digital articles, interactive novels, videos and games – alongside information on our experiential programmes and workshops.
